Why Pinoys love Encantadia

MANILA, Philippines - Throughout its eight-month run, Encantadia has left televiewers amazed by the surprising twists and turns happening every night.

The top-rating primetime fantasy series has been receiving positive reviews for giving televiewers an engrossing story filled with magical powers, action-packed battles, drama, comedy, friendships and love triangles.

Encantadia has upped the kilig factor with the entry of new cast members like Marx Topacio, who plays Azulan, the new love interest of Pirena (Glaiza de Castro); real-life sweethearts Inah de Belen and Jake Vargas as Deshna/Luna and Gilas, respectively; and Arra San Agustin whose character Ariana is being paired with Ybrahim (Ruru Madrid).

“Buti pa nga sa Encantadia may mga ka-loveteam ako, pero sa totoong buhay wala. Minsan nga nagtatanong na ako sa sarili ko na pangit ba ako (laughs)? But I still believe that the right guy will come,” said Glaiza during the set visit.

Ruru, on the other hand, described her new Encantadia loveteam partner Arra as gorgeous and smart. “When I learned that Arra would enter Encantadia, I got curious and I researched about her, kaya napansin ko na maganda sya and during the audition habang tinititigan ko sya lalo syang gumaganda.” But Ruru maintained that his feelings for Encantadia co-star Gabbi Garcia remain special.

Meanwhile, Rocco Nacino, shared that he and Lovi Poe recently patched things up and let bygones be bygones during a special dinner with friends. Now that they are friends again, will Rocco follow his ex-girlfriend on her social media accounts again? “(Smiling) Hindi siguro, nakikita ko naman sya sa billboards ng Bench.”

Also present during the set visit were Arra, Inah, Pancho Magno, Joross Gamboa, Rochelle Pangilinan, Carlo Gonzales, Klea Pineda and Sanya Lopez.
