Summit Point hosts Invitational December 16

MANILA, Philippines - Summit Point Golf and Country Club is hosting the Invitational Tournament Dec. 16-17 at Lipa City with five hole-in-one prizes at stake.

A brand-new Peugeot 301 car from Peugeot Lipa, two Srixon golf sets, a Texas Eagle golf cart from Turf Co., and P200,000 and P100,000 cash from Republic Surety and Insurance and NCIA/MAA, respectively, await the lucky ace makers.

Also at stake are  trophies and lots of raffle items to be given away, according to general manager Dan Salvador.

A total of 208 players, representing 104 two-man teams, will eye five different division titles on offer. On the first round, they’ll play the Four-Ball Strokeplay on Friday then Aggregate Strokeplay on Saturday.

There will be shotgun tee-offs, one at 6:15 a.m. and another at 12 noon in both playing dates.
