Final FIGBA stag derby elims unwraps at Roligon
MANILA, Philippines – The FIGBA National Bakbakan 12-stag derby holds its last elimination round today with a huge field clashing at the Roligon Mega Cockpit.
The qualifiers will join the other bets who scored at least two points in the Dec. 3 and 6 elims in the four-stag semifinals on Saturday, also at Roligon.
Twenty-seven unbeaten participants with seven points have so far qualified to the five-stag grand finals on Dec. 17 while 23 others with 6.5 points will have their final round on Dec. 15.
The list includes Rey Tindero, Vincent Rojo, Ticong Baylon, Mario Torrejos, Ronnie de Venecia, Bingbong Dayon, JSF entry, Rod Languin Jr., Anggok Montesa, Teddy Ditchella, Michael Ascalon, Jay Fantanosas, R. Habana, Joshua Sacapana, Carlos Tumpalan, Ed Solangon, Boy Singson, Johnny Santos, Yoac Estrella, Jose Ramirez, Cristy Miraflor, Gerry Teves and Kap Angel.
The 2016 Bakbakan is spearheaded by FIGBA (Internatonal Federation of Gamefowl Breeders) with 38 member-associations.
Bakbakan is co-presented by Thunderbird the Winning Formula and B-MEG Integra Power Maxx in cooperation with Excellence Poultry & Livestock Specialists, Lakpue Drug Inc., Hagibis, Salto, Vitarich Titan, Vio-Plus, Pit Fighter and Mad Science.
