Bakbakan draws 6,834 entries
MANILA, Philippines - Three more qualifying rounds of the “2016 FIGBA National Bakbakan 12-Stag Derby” will be held at Roligon Mega Cockpit on Dec. 3, 6 and 8.
As of yesterday, the official tally of entries rose to 6, 834.
Today’s three-stag elims at Roligon will banner more than 70 fights.
Combined elimination and semifinal rounds (straight seven) will be held on Dec. 4 with members of Panay GBA and Camarines GBA seeing action.
An influx of entries from the provinces is anticipated next week at Roligon, said FIGBA president Ricoy Palmares Jr.
The final round schedule: Dec. 13 (for members of MMGBA, UCBA, UPBA and UMIGBA), Dec. 15 (for those with 6.5 points) and Dec. 17 (for those with 7 points).
Bakbakan 2016 is co-presented by Thunderbird the Winning Formula and B-Meg Integra Power Maxx in cooperation with Excellence Poultry and Livestock Specialists, Lakpue Drug Inc., Hagibis, Salto, Vitarich Titan, Vio-Plus, Pit Fighter and Mad Science.
