MAP raises funds for CSR
Known for its commitment to social responsibility, the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) recently held their Golf Cup for CSR 2016 at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club to generate funds for MAP’s philanthropic endeavors. Led by lawyer and MAP president Perry Pe and First Credit Consultants Corp. president and MAP membership committee vice chair Grace Palma-Tiongco, the MAP members and other participants enjoyed a fine round of golf, while at the same time doing their part for CSR. Aside from raising funds for the CSR, the event also encouraged camaraderie and friendly competition among the MAP members and other management professionals from the nation’s leading corporations and business organizations. Among the beneficiaries of the event are the EMERGE Program, the MAP Book on the 38 MMY Awardees, the MAP CSR Case Development Program, and the Children’s Hour and the Management Educators Workshop (MEW), the MAP’s Teacher’s Training Program in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
