Prudente, De Jesus take ABC honors

MANILA, Philippines - Hermie Prudente of Lightcord Enterprises carded a 1271 to capture the Group A crown while Lawrence de Jesus of Philflex bagged the Group B title with a 1260 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the E-Lanes in Ortigas, Ave., San Juan last week.

Buddy Segui of Duraflex scored a 1257 and Lito Zubiri of Boysen Paints rolled a 1254 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group A while Malou del Rosario of Boysen Paints made a 1220 and Ivan Du of Steeltech shot a 1203 to place second and third, respectively, in Group B.

The tournament, sponsored by Boysen Philippines, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes/Wallguard, Dutch Boy, Crown Pipes, American Wires/Duraflex Wires and Cables, Philflex Wires and Cables, Emerald Pipes, EPCO Architectural Hardware, Consnet Builders, Miraga Trading, E.S. Vidal Builders, Romari Construction, DN Steel, Matson Builders, IFE Elevators, FMJ Electrical, Sogo Systems, Mighty Lynx, Lightcord Enterprises, HCG, Atlanta Pipes, Coach Furniture, Metro Cathay Trading, Morning Sun Glass, ProActive Pest Control, Sygenta, Steel Tech Roof, Mitsubishi Elevators (IEEI), American Standards (Lixil), Glass Asia and Lucky Pipes, resumes at 7:30 tonight with the quarterly championship, also at E-Lanes.
