Alyssa Valdez banners Customs in new V-League conference

MANILA, Philippines - A new Reinforced Conference champion will emerge once the latest edition of the Shakey's V-League unfolds in October.
Defending champions PLDT Home Ultera Fast Hitters, who were bannered by superstar names Alyssa Valdez, Jaja Santiago and Gretchel Soltones, will not see action.
Instead, Valdez, along with two Thai imports, will steer newcomer Bureau of Customs Transformers.
Reigning open conference champion Pocari Sweat Lady Warriors will try to extend their dominance in the reinforced season.
Open conference podium finishers Philippine Air Force and Bali Pure, which finished second and third, respectively, will also see action. Laoag will likewise return.
The Lady Dolphins of the Philippine Coast Guard will also return to improve their last place finish last year.
Rounding up the competing teams are collegiate squads University of the Philippines Lady Maroons and University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses.
