Lucky 9 to host Highlands Cup

MANILA, Philippines – The Midlands Lucky 9 course, the new nine-hole addition to Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club, will play host to the Highlands Ladies Cup, providing the field a different kind of challenge when the 11th staging of the event is held Sept. 24.

The organizing Tagaytay Highlands Ladies Chapter has tapped Lucky 9 course, aside from the regular Midlands layout, to help speed up play in anticipation of another huge field vying for top honors in various divisions of the annual event backed by Diamond sponsors Auto Nation Group – Mercedes-Benz, Pacific On Line and W Group, Inc.

The Lucky 9 is teeming with tricky options, including deep ravines, bunkers that come into play, small greens, with each hole having its own unique character that can deceive even the most veteran in the fold.

That should further spice up the competition in the 18-hole tournament, supported by Platinum sponsor SM Store and Security Bank, which offers fabulous prizes and features a mix of players and guests from various sectors.

Registration is ongoing with fee pegged at P3,500 for members and P4,000 for non-members, inclusive of green fee, cart, breakfast, lunch, raffle and giveaways. For tickets, call up Deena at (+63) 917880-5160.

Other backers of the event are Pilipinas Shell and Regent Travel, which offers a four-day, three-night air hotel for two to Guam, as gold sponsors, and New Golden City Builders and Development Corp., SM Prime and Petron as silver sponsors.
