NU's Urdas close to regaining lethal form after ACL injury

Philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines – She was once dubbed "The Supernatural" for her ability to score effortlessly, but after suffering a partial ACL tear two years ago, Aiko Urdas is slowly regaining her old form.

In their last outing against Far Eastern University in the 13th Shakey's V-League Collegiate Conference on Wednesday, Urdas scored 15 points, finishing second in scoring to Jaja Santiago (19 markers).

The UAAP Season 75 Rookie of the Year waxed hot both on offense and defense with 12 kills, two aces and six excellent receptions.

Urdas said that she still has some hesitations whenever she goes up for an attack.

She admits she is not yet playing her one hundred percent, but she is working extra hard to get back to her lethal form.

Assistant coach Edjet Mabbayad said they advised the open spiker to take time in her recovery.
