4-time world champ to grace Aboitiz triathlon, conduct clinic

MANILA, Philippines - Four-time triathlon world champion Chris McCormack will conduct a two-session clinic on Sept. 2-3 at the Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club, Hamilo Coast, in Nasugbu, Batangas.

McCormack uses his MaccaX coaching platform is one of the highlights of the Aboitiz Tri 2016 Olympic-distance triathlon set Sept 3.

He holds the first clinic on Sept. 2 4:30-6:30 p.m., with the next set the following day 8-10 a.m. prior to the race proper which starts at 2 p.m.

The two-day clinic is expected to provide local triathletes an exclusive opportunity to learn practical, proven tips to successful triathlon training and racing.

“I always love coming to the Philippines because the people here are crazy about triathlon,” said McCormack. “I want to share my tips and secrets to make sure whether you’re new to the sport or have been at it for a while, you’re racing your best.”

McCormack is also set to race in Aboitiz Tri 2016.

McCormack coaching was set up to bring together triathletes of all skill levels, from newbies to profes-sionals, seeking coaching from him and his team of experts, while building up a worldwide support system of triathletes.

“These are just a bit of what MaccaX is about and if we build a big enough team out of the Philip-pines I would love to come out and do a full-on camp,” said McCormack.
