Aces vie in Asian karting Open

MANILA, Philippines - Top Asian bets slug it out for karting supremacy in the second round of the Petron Tri-Activ Asian Karting Open Championships which got under way at the Carmona Racetrack in Brgy. Bangkal, Carmona, Cavite.

Powerhouse China and Hong Kong have been installed as the favorites to wrest the crown from the hosts in the premier karting event sanctioned by the world governing Commission Internationale de Karting- Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (CIK-FIA).

China is bannered by Zhang Haopeng and Yuxen Wu while Kent Tsui is the driver to watch in the Hong Kong side in the event sponsored by Petron, Petron Blaze 100 Euro 4, Petron XCS, Petron Ultron, Petron Xtra, Petron Sprint, Magnolia Pure Water and Yokohama the official tires.
