Aquino, Del Rosario Hundley top Plaridel golf

MANILA, Philippines – Jun Aquino carded a net 69 to capture the overall crown while Joel Del Rosario Hundley took the Class A crown also with a net 69 in the second Samahang Plaridel golf tournament at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club’s West Course last Friday.

Anton Cabangon of Business Mirror shot a net 72 to clinch the Class B plum while Carlito Montenegro bagged the Class C diadem with a 71 in the 18-hole tournament sponsored by San Miguel Corp., Philippine Airlines, International Container Terminal Services, Inc., Goldensky International Group, Inc., Pagcor, SM Mart, Inc., Ayala Land, Philex Mining, Manila North Tollways Corp., GMA 7, PCSO, Stradcom, Asia Brewery, Wilcon Depot, Inc., Milleage Asia Corp., Liwayway Marketing Corp., Mega Fibers Corp., Business Mirror, Cathay Land, South Forbes Golf Club, Zen, Family Inada, Autohub and Turf Company.

Ben Gorospe shot a net 70 to place second to Hundley, while Benedicto Malcontento carded a net 72 for second in Class B and Alberto Garcia also made a 72 for runner-up honors in Class C.

Mary Jane Llanes of San Miguel Corp. turned in a net 72 to cop the ladies division crown with Mai Cu finishing second with a net 74.
