Beach volley semis, finals on

MANILA, Philippines – The sand battles finally reach their climax as two pairs clash for tickets for the crown today in the 2016 Philippine Superliga (PSL) Challenge Cup beach volleyball tournament at the SM By the Bay in Mall of Asia.

Heavyweight RC Cola-Army A of Jovelyn Gonzaga and Nene Bautista takes on Petron XCS of Bang Pineda and Aiza Maizo-Pontillas at 11:15 a.m. while FEU-Petron of Bernadette Pons and Kyla Atienza battle Foton of Cherry Rondina and Patty Orendain at 12:15 p.m. in the women’s division semifinals.

The survivors will then clash in the finals of the tourney bankrolled by Asics, Mikasa, Senoh, Petron, Foton, TV5 as official broadcaster and SM By the Bay as venue partner.

The championship match,  set at 5:30 p.m., will be aired live over Sports 5.

Classification matches pit F2 Logistics versus Petron Sprint 4T at 7:30 a.m. and  RC Cola-Army B against  Navy A at 8:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, Navy B tangles with TVM at 9 a.m. while Navy A clashes with FEU A at 9:45 a.m. in the semifinals with the winners advancing to the men’s finals at 3:15 p.m.
