World Slasher sked to lure bigger field

MANILA, Philippines - The 2016 World Slasher Cup 2 gears up for another blockbuster staging when it holds the second edition of the semi annual derby May 26-June 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Riding the success of the biggest slasher event ever – the 2016 World Slasher Cup 1 8-Cock Invitational Derby last February –  the upcoming event is expected to be another record-breaker in terms of participation.

The forthcoming showdown, hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, will have two separate two-cock elimination days (May 26 - 27) to be followed by the semis May 28-29.

The four-cock pre-finals will be staged May 30-31 for those with scores of 2, 2.5 and 3 points while the four-cock grand finals will be held on June 1 featuring all undefeated entries with scores of 3.5 or 4 points.

Entry fee is P88,000 with a minimum bet requirement of P33,000.
