Coach E taps 8 venues

MANILA, Philippines - A total of eight venues will host Coach E’s Summer Fundamental Camp, which expects another huge turnout from the young and aspiring players who want to take their game to the next level.

Open to boys and girls four to 16 years old, players from key cities in San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Quezon City, Makati and Alabang hope to improve their skills in a camp that offers a low coach-student ratio.

Entry fee is P5,500 for eight sessions, inclusive of one set of uniform (jersey and shorts). Certificates will also be given to all participants while a one-day tournament caps the summer program on May 29 where students will be divided into teams.

In San Juan, classes will be held at Mother Goose Nursery School and Greenhills West starting May 2. Sessions at Mother Goose Nursery School are set Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon till May 25. Classes at Greenhills West will be every Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m.

In Mandaluyong, the camp will be conducted at the Gatorade Hoops Center beginning May 3 with the Tuesday and Friday classes scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 noon also until May 25.

Valle Verde 2, on the other hand, will also open its camp for the Pasig aspirants on May 2 up to May 26 on Mondays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Two venues will be made available for QC residents,  the Ateneo College covered courts and the Celebrity Sports Plaza. Classes at Ateneo are set May 3-27 on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. while campers at the Celebrity Sports Plaza will start on May 4 till May 28 with the Wednesday and Saturday set from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
