MANILA, Philippines - Mark Alistaire Pastrama scored 17 points as Blackwater marked its debut in the 2016 Under Armour-PBA Batang PBA 12-and-under tournament with an imposing 61-44 victory over San Miguel Beer at the Philippine Science High School gym in Quezon City yesterday.
In other games, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel drew 29 points from CJ Malik Due as the Batang Kings overwhelmed the NLEX Batang Road Warriors via the same score, 61-44, while Ian Angelo Olivar hit nine points as Phoenix dumped Mahindra, 56-33.
Routs continued to mark the tournament as the fancied teams flaunted their form against their less-fancied rivals.
Barangay Ginebra and Alaska pace the field with 2-0 slates, Blackwater, Rain or Shine and Globalport are at 1-0, Phoenix is at 1-1, and the rest of the teams remain winless.
