Gabe Norwood's bro sets NFL record at Super Bowl
MANILA, Philippines – It's probably safe to say by now that the Norwoods have a knack in shining on a sporting event's big stage.
Jordan Norwood, younger brother of PBA cager and Gilas Pilipinas trooper Gabe, went on to leave an indelible mark in the National Football League's history by registering a record in American Football's grandest stage.
Playing as a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, Jordan made the most out of a confused North Carolina Panthers, securing a punt and then streaking back for 61 yards in the Super Bowl earlier today.
Take a look at the play in full:
The play came when the Broncos need a much-needed boost to break away from the Panthers. Denver was up 10 to North Carolina's 7 in the second quarter.
It was an icing on the cake for Jordan whose Denver crew went on to win the 50th iteration of the Super Bowl, 24-10.
