Road Warriors ride on Thornton anew, jolt Bolts

MANILA, Philippines -- NLEX kept its resurgence, nailing a third win in its last four games as the Road Warriors tripped the Meralco Bolts, 89-76, later in the night.

Al Thornton erupted for 36 points while KG Canaleta added 16 as NLEX pulled off the crucial win that allowed the team to draw level with Kia at eighth place at 3-4.

Meralco’s loss, meanwhile, created a three-way logjam on the lead among the Bolts, the Talk n Text Tropang Texters and RoS E-Painters at 5-2.
