World Cup games up at Greenbelt 3

MANILA, Philippines - Local football fans get a rare treat for the live telecast of the World Cup games in Brazil at Greenbelt 3 Discovery Suites and other venues, which include the World Cup Dreams on-going photo exhibit.

Starting at 9 p.m. at Greenbelt 3, a special exhibit of World Cup Dreams photos taken by Mon Lindo and Dindo Fortuno of the Azkals and the Little Azkals to be followed by live bands and fire dancers all the way to the opening match between Brazil and Croati at 4 a.m. the following day on the giant screen.

The special photo exhibit is part of the World Cup Dreams project of the British Council and Pru Life UK, which includes a TV Special in support of the U11 boys team that trained in England.

At the same time, Discovery Suites will also be airing all the World Cup games hosted by PRU Life UK and the British Council from June 13 to July 13 for the finals. This will be open to the public with Discovery Suites to likewise hold country-themed parties for local communities with teams playing in Brazil. England plays Italy on Sunday while PRU Life and the British Council to host a breaktfast part with the Azkals and Little Azkals on June 16 at Discovery Suites.

Meanwhile, Mexico plays Cameroon in a Group A match on June 14 wile Spain goes up against Netherlands and China faces Australia in Group B and Uruguay tangles with Costa Rica in Group D.

The remaining schedule for the World Cup Dreams digital photo exhibit will be held at SM Megamall on June 18, SM North EDSA on June 25, SM Fairview on July 2, SM Marikina on July 9, SM Sta. Rosa on July 16, SM Manila on July 23 and SM Cebu on Aug. 6.
