TnT’s Castro wins first BPC plum
MANILA, Philippines – On the night when Talk n Text is gunning for a historic third straight Philippine Cup title, Jayson Castro pulled off his first Best Player of the Conference award.
Castro amassed a total of 1,146 points to become the runaway winner for the coveted plum, besting his teammate Ranidel de Ocampo (730) and Alaska super rookie Calvin Abueva (612).

Castro, who was the 2010-11 Most Improved Player and 2012 Commissioner's Cup co-Finals MVP with Jimmy Alapag, is averaging a team-best 18.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in the ongoing Finals series against Rain or Shine.
