MANILA, Philippines - Local government units suspended classes this morning in anticipation of rain and floods due to tropical cyclone "Falcon." Nonetheless, that doesn't mean frowning brows and sad expressions from our fellowmen.

The sunlight absent from view and sharp wind whipping the trees cannot put the Filipino spirit down in the dumps. Being known as a resilient and creative race, Filipinos have a habit of making the best out of bad situations.
