MANILA, Philippines – "In the spirit of beauty pageants, let's end this issue with world peace."

 

Thus said Toni Gonzaga as she addressed the issue concerning her hosting style during the Binibining Pilipinas 2015 coronation night on Sunday.

The ABS-CBN star received flak online for her manner of hosting during the said pageant. While a number of viewers praised Toni’s stint as the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 co-host, some netizens criticized Toni for her “informal” style, particularly when she cracked jokes during the pageant’s question and answer portion.

 

During the press conference for her upcoming Star Cinema movie “You’re The Boss” on Monday, Toni addressed the issue and apologized to those offended by her hosting style during the Bb. Pilipinas coronation night.

“Doon po sa mga hindi natuwa at hindi naibigan ang mga napanood nila noong Sunday, I’m humbly asking for apology if I have offended or maligned any one of you,” Toni saidl

 

Toni also explained that she was instructed to make the some “fun, light and ease the tension, especially during the Q and A portion.”
