Paulo on KC: Concentrate muna kami sa career namin

MANILA, Philippines — "Ngayon, concentrate muna kami sa career namin. That's what we're doing," Paulo Avelino said when asked if he still gets to go out with actress KC Concepcion.

During the press conference for Cosmopolitan Philippines' Cosmo Men mini-mag supplement on Tuesday, September 9, the ABS-CBN actor kept mum on the status of his relationship with KC.

This is after KC admitted dating Paulo again last July.

"Everything's okay. Everything's good," Paulo said of KC.

The "Sana Bukas pa ang Kahapon" star denied speculations that he is not in good terms with the "Ikaw Lamang" actress. The speculations came after Paulo attended the Star Magic Ball alone last Saturday. A number of netizens also noted that Paulo deleted KC's photos from his Instagram account, prompting them to believe that the two are not doing well.

But Paulo said he deleted several photos from his Instagram account and not just KC's. "Actually if you noticed, I took out all the colored pictures and pictures of me na may kasamang mga babae. Kasi I want my Instagram to be just black and white. I want it to be about quotes, about films, and about me," he explained.

The 26-year-old actor admits he does not get to spend much time with KC recently, given their busy schedules.

"Busy pareho e. We're doing... Pareho kaming may soaps ngayon. Ang hirap, lalo na ngayon may Cosmo pa. Kailangan ko mag-work out. May Bench pa," he said.

Paulo is referring to the Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash and the Bench denim and underwear fashion show, which is both happening this month.

"Nothing's changed. Ganun pa rin," Paulo said, adding he does not want to share about.

"Ayoko nang (masyadong mag-share). Ayoko nang bigyan ng malisya ng tao. But nothing has changed," Paulo said on when he last went out with KC.

Paulo is the cover boy this year's Cosmo Men, the mini-mag supplement that's available with the September issue of Cosmopolitan Philippines.

Paulo graces the magazine along with actors Geoff Eigenmann, Benjamin Alves, James Reid, and Pancho Magno, among others.
