Corporate ‘workation’ possible in Lagen

MANILA, Philippines -  One of four El Nido Resorts properties in Northern Palawan has maintained its natural beauty – rugged limestone cliffs and crystalline waters amid a rich diversity of animal, marine and plant life.

In Lagen, even the most taxing corporate exercises can take on something akin to a “workation.”

According to Condé Nast Traveller, El Nido including surrounding islands Lagen, Miniloc and Pangulasian were among the 20 most beautiful beaches in the world in 2016. 

Executives holding meetings at Lagen’s conference facilities attest that they feel a sense of connection and calm upon arrival at their destination. Reports state that natural settings help maintain an even disposition and control anxiety. The Journal of Experimental Psychology adds that being immersed in nature helps boost inspiration and inventiveness.

An organizational development expert who recommends natural settings for corporate exercises points out that the minds of participants “seem to recalibrate after at least a day in beautiful surroundings. That’s when they begin seeing things they didn’t before.”
