Corpse found in Iloilo town; face, limbs bound with tape

SAN JOAQUIN, ILOILO, Philippines — Another suspected victim of extrajudicial killing was found along the roadside of Barangay Baybay, San Joaquin, Iloilo Wednesday morning, an ABS-CBN News report said.

The victim, who was wearing a white T-shirt and yellow shorts, was hog-tied with packing tape, and his face covered with plastic.

A National Irrigation Administration employee was the first to discover the lifeless body.

Local authorities believe that the body might have been dumped in the area only this morning. Police have yet to identify the victim.

Last Monday, almost a hundred drug personalities in San Joaquin had already surrendered under Oplan Tokhang. (FREEMAN)
