GeoEstate starts unit turnover in maiden subdivision project

MANILA, Philippines -  GeoEstate Development Corp. has started turning over to homebuyers the completed house and lot units in its maiden subdivision development Soluna in Bacoor, Cavite City.

Located along the major thoroughfare of Bacoor Blvd., the upscale community consists of a limited inventory of only about 200 units within a prime 5.5-hectare property and is positioned as an alternative for a premier address in the area.

“We have found that majority of the market is organic, such as families within the surrounding communities and cities seeking to upgrade their lifestyle,” GeoEstate chairman and chief executive officer Francisco Licuanan III said.

Soluna offers pre-designed and pre-built single-detached homes that range from 64 to 120 square meters in living space.

A number of house and lot units were completed since the project was launched in 2014, while others are ongoing with their construction. Depending on the payment scheme availed by homebuyers, the properties are usually delivered at least six months after purchase.

The turnover of these house and lots units will be followed by the opening of the central clubhouse amenity by April.

“Our achievement with Soluna is delivering on our promise to our buyers to provide the best value for their money through high-quality and well-designed homes, and this time, in the context of a horizontal development,” Licuanan said.

GeoEstate, formed by Licuanan in 2006, has largely focused on city condominium developments with its first project The Beacon in Makati City, followed by Sonria in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The Beacon is a three-tower high-rise development targeting the mid-income market of young families and upwardly mobile individuals. The condominium’s third and final residential tower is already scheduled for turnover by April. Sonria, on the other hand, is a recently-completed low-density vertical enclave that is positioned as an alternative for empty nesters, expatriates, and young families as well coming from the high-end Alabang community. The latter project is currently ready for move-in.

“It is but a natural part of our growth as a company to slowly but surely bring our expertise into other types of property developments, in order to best address what we see as underserved needs in the market today,” said Licuanan.

Licuanan underscored the innovations afforded by Soluna, such as an intimate and private subdivision setting in contrast to the mature market of residential developments in the Bacoor area.
