ABS-CBN Global may bagong COO
MANILA, Philippines — Itinalaga ng ABS-CBN Corporation si Olivia De Jesus bilang bagong Chief Operating Officer (COO) ng ABS-CBN Global, Ltd., ang organization na nagma-manage ng global flagship brand nitong TFC (The Filipino Channel).
Si Olivia ang nag-take over ng position ni Rafael Lopez na nag-retire na pero patuloy pa ring engaged sa kumpanya bilang Executive Adviser to the President and CEO of ABS-CBN Corporation.
Bilang COO, ito ang magpo-provide ng leadership and vision necessary to grow the global business. She will drive strategy formulation and establish initiatives to expand the company’s product lines and markets.
Bago ang kanyang appointment, marami na ring hinawakang posisyon si Olivia para sa ABS-CBN.
Siya ang managing director ng North America since 2017, making the region the consistent dominant contributor to ABS-CBN Global’s consolidated growth.
Sa ilalim ng kanyang pamumuno, nai-launch ng cross-functional teams ang ilang successful initiatives na nakilala rin sa buong mundo gaya ng TFC@theMovies, One Kapamilya Go event, Lifestyle Network Global, MYX TV, Adobo Nation among others.
Kamakailan ay pinangunahan din ni Olivia ang pagpapalago ng innovative content for the emerging global Filipino millennial market sa pamamagitan ang iba’t ibang proyekto gaya ng TFCU Talks, Discovering Routes, at ang very successful na 1st Cinematografo International Film Festival in San Francisco.
Since joining ABS-CBN in 1996, ilan sa mga posisyon na hinawakan ni Olivia ay ang Director for Marketing Communications at the International Division, Head of Manila Operations at ABS-CBN Global, Managing Director at Creative Programs, Inc. and Global Head of Content Strategy.
Bago pumasok sa ABS-CBN, si Olivia ay isang award-winning senior creative at McCann-Erickson and Saatchi & Saatchi in the Philippines.
