5 arrested for rape of student

MALOLOS, Philippines – Five suspects were arrested for allegedly raping a Grade 10 student in Santa Maria, Bulacan on Saturday. 

Senior Superintendent Romeo Caramat Jr., acting Bulacan police director, identified the suspects as Ray Francisco Planos, 20; Kent Tejada, 19; Justine Mark Enriquez, 18, and two 15-year-old boys. 

Accompanied by her aunt, the victim told police the rape occurred at Las Palmas subdivision in Barangay Caypombo at around 2 a.m.  Prior to the incident, the victim and the suspects reportedly had a drinking spree.
