JC nganga sa Araw ng mga Puso; Jessy nilalamon sa aktingan?

Guess what’s new with JC de Vera, who lately, ay kumbaga, pinuputakti din ng su­wert­e? Career wise, ha.

Napapansin ang kakaiba na niyang pag-arte sa You’re My Home, lalo’t sa mga eksenang magkasama sila ni Jessy Mendiola, who appears, wika nga, not to be doing her homework.

Which is a pity, since halos kay Jessy na nga­yon naka-highlight ang ku­wento ng series. Imagine na pawang ‘‘ma­bibi­gat’’ ang eksena niya, lalo’t kina Ri­chard Gomez at Dawn Zulueta.

JC is doing okay din sa comedy in the gag show, Ba­nana Sundae. Bagama’t kailangan ng konting effort pa, ‘‘naagawan’’ siya ng eksena madalas nina Jason Gainza at Pooh. At kahit na ni Ryan Bang.

Now balitang JC has turned recording star with the release of his first album, Stellar, na ang carrier single ay Langit Na Rin.

It’s in his love life na seemingly ‘‘nganga’’ raw si JC, since wala raw siyang date on Valentine’s Day.

Huling na-link si JC kay LJ Reyes, who is now reportedly the love of his life ni Paolo Contis.

LJ has a son by actor Paulo Avelino.

Jennylyn mabenta sa Kapamilya actors

Nagiging favorite leading lady na yata ng mga Kapamilya actor si Jennylyn Mercado.

In last year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), where she won the award for best actress in the entry, #WalangForever, she had for her leading man, Jericho Rosales, a solid Kapamilya.

Jericho was the winner naman for best actor in the same movie, which Dan Villegas directed.

Bago si Jericho, naging leading man niya si Sam Milby sa The Pre-Nup, na kinunan pa ang ilang eksena sa New York.

Well, this time, si John Lloyd Cruz naman ang makakapareha niya sa isang movie with no less than Cathy Garcia-Molina directing at ang producer ay ang Star Cinema.

The Pre-Nup, directed by Jun Lana ay produced by Regal Entertainment. Ang Quantum Films naman ang producer ng #WalangForever.

Still untitled, the film with John Lloyd reportedly will be released on or before the May elections.

Arci palaban din sa biritan

Obvious na mga bagong leading ladies ngayon ang ipinareha ng Star Cinema sa kanilang Kapamil­ya actors na hindi breed sa kanila.

In the upcoming Star Cinema movie, Always Be My Maybe si Arci Muñoz ang leading lady ni Gerald Anderson.

Arci formerly was a TV 5 talent. It was when her contract with the Kapatid Network expired that she decided to try her luck with ABS-CBN.

Arci plays leading lady to Jake Cuenca in the top series, Pasion de Amor, which, in three weeks, will end.

Previous to Arci’s appearance in Always Be My Maybe, she appeared in a bit role in the blockbuster Star Cinema production, A Second Chance, starring naman John Lloyd Cruz at Bea Alonzo.

Few obviously know that Arci is a good singer. She owns a band na siya ang soloist.
