PSL tankers sasalang na sa aksyon
MANILA, Philippines — Sampung bagitong tankers ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) ang magtatangkang humakot ng gintong medalya sa 2017 Hamilton Aquatics Winter Long Course na magsisimula ngayong umaga sa Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Babanderahan ang kampanya ng PSL nina Marc Bryan Dula ng Wisenheimer Academy at Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque na parehong sasabak sa 12 events sa kani-kanilang dibisyon.
“It’s a good exposure for our swimmers since some of the Olympians are showing up here including Adam Peaty. Our swimmers are excited to compete, we had our last training in the morning before plunging into action,” ani PSL President Susan Papa.
Unang hahataw si Dula sa boys’ 10-year 400m Individual Medley, 200m backstroke, 50m backstroke, 400m freestyle, 200m butterfly at 50m butterfly habang masisilayan si Mojdeh sa girls’ 11-year 400m IM, 100m breaststroke, 100m butterfly, 400m freestyle, 100m freestyle at 200m IM.
Kasama rin sa delegasyon sina Jan Mari Christian Bunagan (boys’ 14-year), Albren Jan Dayapdapan (boys’ 13-year), Leiresh Delos Trinos (girls’ 14-year), Lowestein Lazaro (boys’ 15-year), Chaun Nacaytuna (boys’ 9-year), Elijah Pobre (boys’ 13-year), Alfonzo Torrico (boys’ 13-year) at Angela Torrico (girls’ 11-year).
“Hamilton swimming team is one of the best teams. We will be up against strong swimmers from Scotland, United Kingdom, India and China. We’re all set and we’re looking forward to a successful campaign in this competition,” dagdag ni Papa na kasama sa delegasyon si PSL Secretary General Maria Susan Benasa.
