Maraño bagong PSL ambassador

MANILA, Philippines — Itinalaga si Abby Maraño ng F2 Logistics bilang bagong ambassador ng Philippine Superliga (PSL) na nakatakdang magsimula bukas sa The Arena sa San Juan City.

Malayo ang perso­nalidad ni Maraño sa mga naunang ambassador ng liga gaya nina Gretchen Ho, Cha Cruz at Mika Reyes na may ‘sweet’ na imahe kumpara sa middle blocker ng Cargo Movers na tunay na palaban hindi lamang sa loob ng court maging sa kanyang personal na buhay.

Kaya naman perso­nal itong napili ng PSL sa pangunguna nina league president Ramon Suzara at chairman Philip Ella Juico.

“Unlike Gretchen, Cha and Mika, Abby is very vocal and outspoken. Her in­fluence, especially to the youth, is enormous and she had repeatedly displayed her love for the sport and loyalty to the league. That’s why we decided to formally tap her as the PSL ambassador for this year,” ani Suzara.

Naging bahagi si Maraño ng national team na sumabak sa AVC Asian Senior Women’s Cham­pionship at sa 2017 Southeast Asian Games.

“I really have a vocal personality and I’m not afraid to speak my mind for as long as I am right. If the’s PSL image is at stake, no doubt, I will stand up and defend the league. This is another step for me to influence the youth and aspiring athletes to play their best and chase their dreams,” wika ni Maraño.

Sisimulan ni Maraño kasama ang Cargo Mo­vers ang kampanya nito sa Nov.  4 laban sa Petron sa University of St. La Salle gym sa Bacolod City.
