Draw uli kina So, Chinese GM

Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA, Philippines — Muling nauwi sa draw ang laban nina Filipino Grandmaster  Wesley So at Chinese GM Ding Liren sa second game ng kanilang semifinal match kahapon sa 2017 FIDE (International Chess Federation) World Chess Cup na ginaganap sa Tbilisi, Georgia.

Nagdesisyon sina No. 2 So at No. 11 Ding na maghati sa puntos matapos ang 58 moves para maipuwersa ang 1-1 draw sa kanilang unang dalawang standard chess games.

“Today was a very tough game. I tought I might be very close to loss at one point and I’d like to thank the Lord for let me save the game and keep my chances still alive for now. I’ll see what happens tomorrow (in playoff). In the end it was very difficult to defend,” pahayag ng 23-anyos  Bacoor  City pride sa panayam ng chessbase.com.
