Open title target nina Arcilla, Patrimonio sa Albay netfest
MANILA, Philippines - Target nina Johnny Arcilla at Clarice Patrimonio ang isa pang Open title sa kanilang pagsabak sa 1st Albay National Open sa Miyerkules sa Lignon at DPWH tennis courts sa Legazpi, Albay.
Tiwala sina Arcilla at Patrimonio sa matagumpay na kampanya bunga sa kanilang panalo sa nakaraang PPS-PEPP Brookside Open na ginanap sa Cainta, Rizal noong Abril.
Ang Albay Open ay proyekto ni Gov. Al Francis Bichara sa pamamagitan ng Lignon Hills Tennis Club presidente na si Nards Gonzales at sinusuportahan ng Davies Paints at kabilang sa Magayon Festival celebrations ng probinsiya.
Bukod kay Arcilla at Patrimonio ang iba pang paborito sa torneo ay sina Leander Lazaro, Fritz Verdad at US-based Eric Jed Olivarez kabilang din sina Noel Damian, Jose Maria Pague, John Altiche at Roel Capampangan.
Sa women’s division, tiyak na magkakaroon ng magandang laban si Patrimonio mula nina Khim Iglupas, Shaira Rivera, Frances Santiago, Melanie Faye Dizon, Aileen Rogan, Elsie Abarquez at Chloe Saraza.
“We expect another week-long showcase of top-notch tennis from among the country’s leading players. While Arcilla and Patrimonio enjoy the momentum and the confidence, they remain wary of their rivals, who are all raring to pull off surprises and fuel their respective bids,” sabi ni Palawan Pawnshop president/CEO Bobby Castro.
