UFC chief tiwalang matutuloy ang Mayweather-McGregor fight

MANILA, Philippines - Kumpiyansa si UFC president Dana White na matutuloy ang boxing match sa pagitan nina UFC superstar Conor McGregor at boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

“I see this fight happening,” wika ni White matapos ang idinaos na UFC 210.

Sinabi ni White na makikipagkita siya kay McGregor sa New York matapos manganak ang nobya ng mixed martial arts champion sa Mayo.

Ayon kay White, naka-usap na niya ang kampo ni Mayweather hinggil sa boxing bout nila ni McGregor na maaaring itak-da sa Setyembre.

“Conor is having a baby any day now. After Conor has his baby, Conor and I are going to meet in New York,” wika ni White kay McGregor.

“We’re not close to a deal. I see this fight happe-ning. Conor wants it and Floyd wants it. I’ve said many times, Conor has done a lot. He’s stepped up for the big fights for this company and for me and for Lorenzo (Fertitta)], I can’t deny him this fight,” dagdag pa ng UFC chief.

Nagretiro si Maywea-ther noong Setyembre ng 2015 at nagposte ng mali-nis na 49-0-0 win-loss-draw ring record kasama ang 28 KOs.

Noong Mayo ng 2015 ay tinalo ni Mayweather si Manny Pacquiao sa ka-nilang mega showdown.

Huli namang lumaban si McGregor noong Nobyembre ng 2016 ma-tapos talunin si Eddie Alvarez sa UFC 205.
