Pilipino Star Ngayon

LAS VEGAS — Bagong koponan. Parehong resulta.

Hitik ng bagong star power at nagdomina sa shaded lane, pinabagsak ng US men’s basketball team ang Argentina, 111-74, sa isang exhibition match bilang paghahanda sa 2016 Olympic Games sa Agosto.

Ipinakita ng US ang mas gumanda nilang shooting at conditioning.

“There’s a willingness from these guys to work on anything we need and to work hard,” sabi ni coach Mike Krzyzewski. “These are very good guys.”

“Nothing is for sure,” wika ni Durant. “We want to get this gold and right now we have a job to do. We have to prepare the right way.”

“Obviously, they have the best talent and the best size in the world,” sabi ni Argentinian forward Luis Scola. “That’s a big difference in their favor.”

“The big thing is getting in shape and they are not there where they will be,” ani Krzyzewski. “But we really have an inside presence on the boards.”
