World Poker Tour ilalatag sa Enero 2-8, 2016 sa Solaire Resort

MANILA, Philippines – Magtutuos ang mga high rollers sa paghataw ng World Poker Tour sa Ene­ro 2-8, 2016 sa world-class Solaire Resort and Ca­sino na siyang magi­ging host ng WPT Natio­nal Philippines Festival of Po­ker.

Ito ang pinakamalaking WPT event na kilala rin bil­ang ‘Alpha8’ ng super high-roller series.

Sisimulan ang event sa pamamagitan ng $275 buy-in at $50,000 guaranteed Poker King Cup kasunod ang two-day Super High Rollers na may buy-in na $200,000.

Kasama rin sa festival ang isang $330 buy-in deep-stacked event, $275 buy-in pot-limit Omaha, $165 buy-in ladies event, $5,400 buy-in high roller at $770 buy-in second-chance tourney.

Humigit-kumulang sa 300 poker players, ka­ramihan ay foreigners, ang sasabak sa event.

“We’re very excited with this. I’m sure it will be a suc­cess and we at Solaire are very happy to be part of it,” sabi ni Cyrus Sherafat, ang senior vice president for casino marketing ng So­laire, sa grand launch ka­hapon sa Eclipse Bar ng Solaire.

Nakasama ni Sherafat sa head table sina Adam Pliska, ang president at CEO ng World Poker Tour; Winfred Yu, ang president at CEO ng Poker King Club; at Richard Yong, isang Malaysian high roller.

Unang nagtungo si Pliska sa Solaire noong 2005 at inilarawan ang resort bilang “a great place for poker.”
