MANILA, Philippines - Football for a Better Life (FFABL), the nationwide grassroots development program supported by Pru Life UK, assembles its biggest group of football mentors yet when the program visits Davao del Norte on Oct. 29-30.

Included in the contingent are former Azkals team captain Chieffy Caligdong, Fil-Brit footballer and sports show host Graham Caygill, Azkals Misagh Bahadoran and Amani Aguinaldo (who hails from Davao), and U-14 Little Azkals player Agiel John “Kano” Rojo.

They will conduct football clinics and will be part of tournaments. Venues for both events will be at the 4,200-seater Davao del Norte Sports Stadium and Complex in Tagum City, site of the 2015 Palarong Pambansa.

According to co-organizer Renato Cosmod, president of the Davao del Norte Futbol Association, over 100 teams have confirmed participation. These are teams from the regional football associations of Davao Occidental, Davao del Sur, Golden Davao, Cagayan del Sur, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Island, Butuan and Agusan del Norte.
