Kilabot na Abu Sayyaf bomber tiklo sa Basilan
MANILA, Philippines — Nasakote ng mga awtoridad ang isang Abu Sayyaf bomber na may P1.3 milyong patong sa ulo sa Isabela City, Basilan.
Sinabi ni Brig. Gen. Juvymax Uy, komanfer ng Joint Task Force Basilan, na nadakip si Rahim Abdul alyas Aman Kabalu nitong Martes ng hapon sa Barangay Kaumpurnah ng mga sundalo at pulis.
Nabawi rin kay Abdul ang isang fragmentation grenade.
“Abdul is listed under the Department of National Defense-Department of Interior and Local Government joint order of reward with a bounty reward of P1.3 million for his arrest,” pahayag ni Uy.
Positibong kinilala ng mga testigo si Abdul, dagdag ni Uy.
Ikinatuwa naman ni Western Mindanao Command chief Lt. Gen. Carlito Galvez Jr., ang pagkakahuli kay Abdul.
“The Joint Task Forces will sustain the conduct of combat and intelligence operations in their joint area of operations in order to ensure peace and security in respective areas,” sabi ni Galvez.
