LPC derby elims slated

MANILA, Philippines - The chase for berths in the finals of the Regalo ni Mayor Nene 5-cock derby winds up today with the sixth and last elims round at Las Piñas Coliseum.

After five rounds, 41 cockers posted two wins each to advance to the 3-cock finals on March 8.

Eight others have one point and four reset fights each.

Twenty-five new participants will field in straight five cocks, said LPC coliseum manager Alex Tobias.

Entry fee is P7,000.

Meanwhile, Laguna’s Edwin Tose topped the UFCC 6-cock derby at LPC last Feb. 25 with 5.5 points.
