PCUP chief, 4 komisyoner sinibak ni Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — Sinibak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang 4 commissioners ng Presidential Commission on Urban Poor (PCUP) at ang chairman na si Atty. Terry Ridon.
Ito ang inihayag kahapon ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque ito ay dahil sa isyu ng junket abroad at pagkabigong magampanan ang kanilang tungkulin bilang collegial body.
Ang sinibak ay sina chairman Ridon, commissioners Dr. Melissa Aradanas, Manuel Serra Jr., Dr. Joana Lagunda at Noe Indonto.
“The President said during the 84th anniversary celebration of the Department of Labor and Employment last December 8 that he would fire a commission. The commission he was referring to is the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor,” wika pa ni Roque.
Nagpasalamat naman si Atty. Ridon kay Pangulong Duterte sa pagbibigay sa kanya ng pagkakatoan na makapaglingkod sa taumbayan.
