ASEAN Summit matagumpay

MANILA, Philippines — Idineklara kahapon ng ASEAN Committee on Security  Peace and Order and Emergency Preparedness and Res­ponse (CSPOEPR) sa ginanap na press briefing kahapon sa Multi Agency Coordinating Committee (MACC) sa Esplanade, SM Mall of Asia na naging matagumpay ang idinaos na ika-31st Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Summit sa bansa.

Ang ASEAN 2017 Task Force  Commander ay pinangungunahan ng PNP Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) contingents, AFP at iba pang mga task force multipliers na aabot sa 60,000 ang bilang na idineploy sa mga istratehikong lugar sa mga billeting area, highway at pinagdausan ng events saka iba pang mga pagpupulong sa Metro Manila; Clarkfield, Pampanga at ilan pang bahagi ng Southern Luzon.

“We have successfully performed our duty with zero incident as we have clearly envisioned and planned,” ani ASEAN CSPOEPR Chairperson at Interior and Local Government Officer in Charge Catalino Cuy.

Sinabi ni Cuy na naging maayos ang pa­ngangalaga sa seguridad sa mahigit 20 heads of states gayundin sa mga de­legado at mga VIP’s na dumalo sa okasyon.
