NEW YORK – Nagpasabog si Anthony Davis ng season-high na 48 points at humaltak ng 17 rebounds para pangunahan ang New Orleans Pelicans sa pagbangon mula sa 19-point deficit sa third quarter at kunin ang 123-118 overtime victory laban sa Knicks.

Nagdagdag si Jrue Holiday ng 31 points habang kumalawit si DeMarcus Cousins ng 15 points, 16 rebounds, 7 steals at 5 assists para sa Pelicans, nakabawi mula sa 16-point deficit sa first period at nine-point deficit sa huling 4 1/2 minuto sa regulation.

Nagsalpak si Holiday ng tatlong baskets at dalawang free throws sa overtime para ipanalo ang New Orleans laban sa New York.

“I thought we did a great job in the overtime,” sabi ni Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry. “AD was just huge for us, and when you get into those zones like that he’s really good.”

Kapwa naman umiskor sina Kristaps Porzingis at Tim Hardaway Jr. ng tig-25 points sa panig ng Knicks, nalasap ang kanilang ikatlong dikit na kamalasan at pang-10 sa huli nilang 12 asignatura.

Nag-ambag si Jarrett Jack ng season-high na 22 points, samantalang kumolekta si Enes Kanter ng 18 points at 10 rebounds para sa New York.

“I think we’ve just got to do a better job of when we’re up 12, 15 points, we’ve got to take it to another level, another notch,” wika ni Hardaway. “We haven’t been doing that these last couple of games.”

Ang jumper ni Hardawa ang nagbigay sa New York ng 96-77 abante sa huling 1:22 minuto ng third period habang isang 17-4 atake naman ang inilag-lag ng New Orleans para makadikit sa 94-100 agwat sa gitna ng fourth quarter.
