Phl Blu Girls silver sa Asian Women’s Softball

MANILA, Philippines — Nasa larawan ang ipinagmamalaking Philippine Blu Girls ng Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines na umiskor ng ilang upsets tungo sa kanilang silver medal finish sa katatapos lamang na 11th Asian Women’s Softball Championship. Sinabi ni Asaphil president Jean Henri Lhuillier na ang 5-3 reversal panalo sa world No.9 Chinese Taipei at come-from-behind 4-3 win sa China na nasa tamang direksiyon ang Blu Girls tungo sa 2020 Olympics. “I’m so elated with RP Blu Girls’ performance in the Asian Women’s Softball Championship. Their wins against world number 6 China and World number 9 Chinese Taipei, in a span of a few hours, prove that their wins these summer against powerhouse teams such as world number 3 Canada, number 4 Australia were no flukes,” ani Lhuillier.
