ATLANTA – Umiskor si Kyrie Irving ng 30 points habang nagdagdag si Jaylen Brown ng career-high na 27 para banderahan ang Boston Cel-tics sa 110-99 panalo laban sa Hawks.

Sa likod ni Irving, dumiretso ang Celtics sa kanilang pang-15 sunod na arangkada matapos ang 0-2 panimula.

Ang nasabing winning streak ang fifth-longest ng Boston, apat na panalo ang agwat sa 2008-09 team na naglista ng franchise mark.

“Most of us have never been on a winning streak like this,” ani Irving. “I don’t know if we even know how to pay attention to all the hoopla that goes on in terms of the excitement of it. I just think that every single game we take it as a challenge.”

Sa loob ng 31 minuto ay nagsalpak si Irving ng 10-of-12 fieldgoal shooting kasama ang limang three-pointers at may 5-of-5 clip sa free throw line.

Binura ng Celtics ang isang 16-point deficit para ilista ang kanilang kauna-unahang bentahe mula sa triple ni Brown sa gitna ng third period.

Nangunguna ang Boston sa NBA sa depensa, ngunit naisuko nila ang 35 points sa first quarter at naiwanan ng 15 points papasok sa second period.

“I think the biggest thing is that we can’t keep digging these holes,” wika ni Boston coach Brad Stevens. “We need to put an emphasis on playing with pace and getting the ball to the other side of the floor.”

Tumipa naman si Dennis Schroder ng 23 points kasunod ang 19 markers ni Kent Bazemore para sa Atlanta.

Ang Hawks ay may Eastern Conference-worst na 3-13 baraha at nagmula sa 46-point victory kontra sa Sacramento Kings.

“I still feel like we can make some big things happen this season,” wika ni Schroder. “We just have to stay together as a team.”
