Jordan, Nakamori share Petron karting honors

MANILA, Philippines - Mikey Jordan of Apex Racing Team upended his fancied rivals in Race 4 to share the spotlight with teammate Japanese Takeharu Nakamori in the second leg of the Petron Blaze 100 X30 Challenge Philippines at the Carmona Racetrack recently.

Nakamori stamped his class in Race 1 to emerge the X30 Senior Blaze 100 champion by 0.288 of a second over John Dizon of Edgesport Racing in the event promoted by Ceramic Pro Philippines, sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines and sponsored by Petron, Petron Blaze 100 Euro 5, Petron XCS, Petron Ultron, Petron Xtra, Petron Sprint, Magnolia Pure Water and Yokohama the official tires.  

But Jordan surprised Nakamori and Dizon in Race 4, making a quick maneuver from third to wrest the pole position then held on to the finish to nail his first victory in the season.
