PLDT Home Ultera summer camp ni Alyssa Valdez inilunsad

MANILA, Philippines – Kinumpirma kahapon ni Alyssa Valdez  na lalaro siya sa Shakey’s V-League’s 12th season-opening conference na nakatakda sa May 15 halos isang linggo lamang matapos nitong laruin ang kanyang huling UAAP game sa Ateneo.

“I’m going to play here for the Shakey’s V-League,” sabi ni Alyssa Valdez kahapon sa paglulunsad ng PLDT Home Ultera Alyssa Valdez summer camp sa The Frazzled Cook sa Quezon City.

Gayunpaman, sinabi ni Valdez, nanalo ng tatlong MVP trophies at dalawang championships sa limang finals appearances sa Ateneo sa UAAP na wala pa siyang team dahil ang kanyang mother team na PLDT ay ‘di sasali ngayong conference.

“I have no team yet but I will surely play,” sabi ni Valdez.

Sinabi rin ni Valdez na kinokonsidera niya ang mga job offers para lumaro sa  club team sa Maldives, Indonesia o Thailand at handa rin siyang lumaro sa national volleyball team na lalaro sa international tournaments  tulad ng Southeast Asian Games na malamang na iho-host ng bansa sa 2019.

Posibleng mapunta si Valdez sa Philips Gold o Pocari Sweat.

“I’m really open to play outside the country and give myself a chance to play for the national team and represent the country as my way of giving back to the sport of volleyball,” sabi  niValdez.

Kasama ni Valdez ang kanyang mga kaibigan sa volleyball program na magkakaroon ng training camps sa iba’t ibang venues kabilang ang Batangas at Cubao, Quezon City.

Kabilang sa mga makakatulong ni Valdez sa camp ay sina Johnvic de Guzman, Angie Tabaquero, Shaya Adorador, Ateneo teammates Bea de Leon, Jhoanna Maraguinot, Amy Ahomiro, Ella de Jesus at Kim Fajardo na tumulong sa La Salle na talunin ang Ateneo team ni Valdez  para sa UAAP championship ngayong season.
