3-peat puntirya ng NCR

MANILA, Philippines - Ang nakamit na ‘three-peat’ ng Visayas ang siyang duduplikahin ng National Capital Region sa paghataw ng 2014 MILO Little Olympics National Finals ngayon sa Marikina Sports Complex sa Marikina City.

Hinirang na national champion ang NCR Team noong 2012 at 2013 at hangad na masikwat ang kanilang pangatlong sunod na overall crown at ang Perpetual Trophy.

Ang Visayas ang unang nakakuha sa naturang tropeo matapos magdomina sa MILO Little Olympics National Finals noong 2009, 2010 at 2011.

Tiniyak ni MILO Sports Executive Robbie de Vera na pawang mga ‘top of the line’ equipment ang gagamitin ng mga student-athletes para sa Little Olympics National Finals.

Para sa kanilang ika-50 taon anibersaryo, pipili ang MILO ng 50 Most Oustanding Athletes na bibigyan ng special prizes.

“We are all looking forward to award the 50 Most Outstanding Athletes who we’ll be getting from their respective sport,” wika ni de Vera.

Kabuuang 13 sports events para sa mga elementary at high school student-athletes ang paglalabanan sa naturang kompetisyon na suportado ng Wilson, Mikasa, Molten, Butterfly, Marathon, Smart at 2Go Travel.

Ang mga ito ay ang athletics, badminton, basketball, chess, football, gymnastics, scrabble, sepak takraw, swimming, taekwondo, lawn tennis, table tennis at volleyball.

Ang mga venues na gagamitin para sa MILO Little Olympics National Finals ay ang Marikina Sports Center, Marist School, Concepcion Elementary School, Marikina Sports Hub, Club Gymnastica, SM Masinag at Fin-Asia. (RCadayona)
