YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Maagang pinasaya, Salve A., ng Star Cinema at Viva Films and of course, the cast of one of their two Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017 entries, Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad (their other entry, we all know, is Ang Panday), namely Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla and former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, and a big number of underprivileged kids, whom they brought with them to the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, a theme park.

For an entire afternoon, the kids enjoyed every entertainment fare offered by theme park, with no less than Vice Ganda, Daniel and Pia, plus Loisa Andalio, looking after them.

Nasaksihan ito ng members ng entertainment press who were invited, since sa isang Pavillion ng Enchanted Kingdom ginanap ang presscon ng movie.

Present na rin ang ilan sa members of the entertainment press, sa program presented by the cast of Gandarrapiddo: The Revengers Squad.

Ben proposed marriage to Iza late this year. And, in the presents, no less, of Ben’s family.

Ulila nang lubos si Iza, whose dad was the late director-choreographer, Lito Calzado.

While waiting for their exact wedding date, Iza plans to keep herself busy. She is scheduled, she said, too do a movie and, possibly, a series.

Baka sa isang beach resort daw palipasin nina Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and of course, their two year-old daughter, Zia ang Pasko.

On how they will spend the New Year, pag-uusapan pa raw nila.

Both Dingdong and Marian experienced a busy year, well, this year. Dingdong, for one, was able to finish a movie, Seven Sundays, kung saan nakasama niya sina Aga Muhlach, Enrique Gil, Cristine Reyes, at Ronaldo Valdez.

No need to tell you that Seven Sundays, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and produced by Star Cinema, was not just a certified blockbuster, umani rin ito ng magagandang review critics and ordinary moviegoers.

Naging busy rn si Dingdong with his series, the action-drama Alyas Robin Hood.

Marian, for his part, was busy naman with the fantasy-drama teleserye, Super Ma’am.

Ogie Alcasid feels extra proud of his daughter, Leila Alcasid, who is getting good reviews for her stint bilang VJ ng MYX.

Leila, like her dad, is now a confirmed Kapamilya. Ogie again joined ABS-CBN, after working for almost 25 years with GMA 7.

PERSONAL….

From Ethel Ramos, thanks to Joji Dingcong for the pang-noche buena gift he sent me, my sisters, Len and Chit, thru fellow movie columnist Cristy Fermin; to Kim Chiu, for the gift she sent through my PM (Pang-Masa) editor, Salve Asis.
