“She’s Pia Wurtzbach, so I get whatever advice I can get from her. I send her a message once, like out of the blue, thinking she might not reply.

“I said, ‘You know I’m getting really nervous, I’m not really sure what I should really focusing on like this far out this pageant.’ So I said, ‘What do you do, what you were doing three months before the pageant?’” she shared.

“She replied, ‘You just have to enjoy the journey, and when you get there, just have fun.’ And she also said to me, ‘If you don’t enjoy it and you’re stressed all the time you will regret it.’ So that’s the most important advice she gave me.”

“Si Maxine, ‘yun din to have fun and try not to let the bashers affect you. Kasi alam naman natin na si Maxine really had a difficult time with the bashers and seeing her come out of it as a better person is inspiring to me and when I went through to my time of super bashing, I remembered Maxine, and I will remember that advice she gave.

“Noong una, I fight back. Actually minsan I still fight back kasi ang sarap ng feeling, you know when someone is saying so much bad stuff to you, it’s so hard to say nothing and I know naman na that’s the only thing to do.

“But it’s also protecting yourself and your family, the moment anything they say about my family, my boyfriend, you’re screwed, because I will fight back and I will not stop until I win.”

Vicki.

“The reason I’m doing it is because I see so much talent in you, I see so much potential. You remind me of me when I was younger, mga 20 years ago!

“Because you put your money where your mouth is. So basically when you have that kind of passion, I hope you can feel the passion of these kids how they want to express themselves artistically.

“I like to support you because I believe in you and I hope you all support her because I think she has the potential not only to make it locally but I think she really has the potential, the look, and the voice to make it internationally,” sey pa ni Dra. Belo.

“I really hand it to you because at 18, my God! She has the guts to go out there and just do what she wants to express and her friends are so supportive. And that’s exactly the kind of millennials we need.”

“I’m beyond grateful to my Belo Beauty family for my music video launch All I Need earlier at Manila House.

“Thank you for believing in me, Dra. Vicki Belo. I’m more driven and eager to continue my passion for my craft. I love you Doc.”
