Kris ‘di pa nakikilala ng writer ng Crazy Rich Asians
Finally ay natuldukan na rin ang matagal nang tanong ng lahat kung kasama ba talaga si Kris Aquino sa cast ng Hollywood film na Crazy Rich Asians. Kasalukuyang naririto sa bansa si Kevin Kwan, ang sumulat ng best-seller na librong Crazy Rich Asians at sa kanyang guesting sa ANC’s Headstart ni Karen Davila, kinumpirma niyang kasama sa cast ang Queen of All Media.
“Kris Aquino is part of the cast,” ang walang paliguy-ligoy na sagot ng Singapore-based writer.
Pero kung ano ang role ni Kris, ‘yun ang hindi na ni-reveal pa ni Kevin.
“It’s a very special part and I think the audiences are going to love it,” pahayag ng writer.
Hindi pa raw niya nami-meet in person si Kris but they’ve been communicating and chatting a lot online. Inamin din niyang siya ang pumili kay Kris to be part of the movie.
When asked why Kris, ani Kevin, “well, first of all, I wanted a Filipino in this movie, I wanted a few Filipinos in this movie, so we have two, actually, and there will be Nico Santos. A comedian is also in the movie.
“You know, I just have a soft spot for her (Kris),” natatawang sabi pa ni Kevin.
When asked to elaborate, aniya, “She’s Kris Aquino, what else is there to say, you know? She has a dynamic personality and you know, we just thought she would be perfect for this role.”
Dahil nandito ngayon sa bansa ang nasabing writer, he hopes to finally meet Kris during his one-week stay in the country.

Ang mentor niyang si Eric ay malapit ang puso sa Pilipinas dahil nakatrabaho na nito ang mga critically acclaimed and internationally awarded actors natin such as Laurice Guillen, Johnny Delgado, Michael de Mesa, and Leo Martinez among many others.
